General Terms and Conditions for Swimming Pool Rental

1. General

• These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, rental agreements and use of the swimming pool offered by Buitenplaats Ureterp.
• By renting the swimming pool, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Use of the swimming pool

• The swimming pool may only be used during the agreed time slot.
• Children under 12 years old must always be supervised by an adult while swimming.
• Running around the pool, diving, or bringing sharp objects in or around the water is not permitted.
• Glass of any kind is not allowed in or around the pool area.
• The entire pool area is strictly non-smoking.
• The person making the booking is responsible for the behaviour of everyone in their group.
• Food and drinks may only be consumed in the canteen area.

3. Safety and liability

• Use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk.
• Buitenplaats Ureterp is not liable for injury, loss or damage, unless there is proven gross negligence on our part.
• In the event of misconduct or breach of these rules, we reserve the right to deny access to the pool immediately, without any refund.

4. Bookings and cancellations

• Bookings are only final once you have received our confirmation and/or payment has been made.
• You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of your booking.
• For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time, no refund will be given.
• In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the booking will be charged.

5. Cleaning and hygiene

• Showering before entering the pool is compulsory.
• Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the pool area. Please wear slippers or go barefoot.
• In the case of serious contamination (such as excessive dirt, urine or vomit), additional cleaning costs will be charged.
• We ensure regular checks and hygienic maintenance of the pool water.
